Responsible Play Policy
SportsHub was founded with the idea of providing a safe and secure environment for fantasy sports players to participate in the games they love. We have an unwavering commitment to provide a fun, fair, and protective experience to all of our users. We also recognize that there are circumstances where some players may need some assistance to ensure they are participating in a responsible and safe manner. Please utilize the information and tools below to ensure you have all the support you need to maintain a responsible, safe, and enjoyable fantasy sports gaming experience.
Need to take a Time Out?
SportsHub offers the following options to limit play:
If you’re spending too much time or money on SportsHub, you have the option of taking a break from SportsHub entirely with the Self-Exclusion option. Self-Exclusion allows you to set a period of time where you can’t register for any SportsHub Fantasy Contests. Time frames include 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years.
SportsHub also allows you to set spending thresholds with the Set Spending Limits option on your season long contests for a particular year. Simply enter the dollar amount you want to spend on entry fees and transaction packages for a particular year, and you will be restricted upon reaching that threshold from entering any new contests.
Who Can Help?
If you have questions or concerns about your own gaming behavior or about that of a friend or family member, a good place to start is the National Center For Responsible Gaming (NClG).
You can also contact a 24 Hour Confidential National Helpline provided by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) at: 1-800-522-4700.
New York State has a Specific Helpline Number: 877-846-7369.
Founded in 1996 as a separate 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the NCRG’s mission is to help individuals and families affected by gambling disorders by supporting the finest peer-reviewed, scientific research into pathological and youth gambling; encouraging the application of new research findings to improve prevention, diagnostic, intervention and treatment strategies; and advancing public education about gambling disorders and responsible gaming.
